A cookie is a small piece of information that is stored on a computer for the purpose of identifying that browser during interaction on websites. Cookies may be used to store items such as identifiers and user preferences.

A website may set a cookie to the browser if the browser’s preferences allow it. A browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has set, not those set by other websites (no other website will be able to access the cookies created by our website). You can set your browser preferences yourself to accept/deny or remove cookies, this may however reduce the quality of your browsing experience and limit the functionality available to you.

We will only use cookies to store relevant data used to enable certain functionalities or enhance your browsing experience, this data will be in the form of a non-personal id, to protect your identifiable information. Some functionality within our digital environment may require the use of cookies:

– Store your website preferences

– Maintain your login status (to identify that you are logged in or out, not your actual login details)

– ‘Remember me’ identifiers so when you return to a site you don’t need to enter your details again

– We may use advertising services such as Google Adwords, Double Click display or Yahoo advertising which use cookies to ensure you get only relevant ads

– Website tracking such as Google Analytic (see next section)

Google Analytics

Google Analytics uses first party cookies to record your interaction with our website. We comply with Google’s terms of use and as such we will not record any personally identifiable information via Google Analytics (eg: email, name, address etc).

Google AdWords Remarketing Service

This website uses the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an inquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the YourGolfPro website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page, and if you want to you can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.

The information we collect will be limited to only applicable information which can be used to increase the relevancy of our messages. This information may be tied to your subscription profile, which due to the nature of email, will include at the very least the personally identifiable information of your email address.

As such, on all of our email communications we give our subscribers clear options to unsubscribe from our communications, you can also contact us via the details below to have you details removed from our listings.

Cross Border Flow Information

In the course of our activities we may have to process or store your information outside of our national boundaries.
